Valenti

Joseph S. Valenti, MD, FACOG

Dr. Valenti is a native of Buffalo, NY and has lived in North Texas since 1998. He has twin boys, Oliver and Nicolas. Dr. Valenti attended medical school at State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated with Honors, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. Prior to medical school he worked on a Master’s degree in Immunology while conducting cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His appointments include Past President of the Denton County Medical Society, twice past Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Denton Regional Medical Center, past Chief of Staff of North Texas Hospital, and Immediate Past Chairman of the Council on Socioeconomics for the Texas Medical Association. He holds a seat on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Physicians Foundation as well as a Board seat on a national medical malpractice insurance carrier. Dr. Valenti is a Da Vinci Robot trained minimally-invasive gynecologic surgeon and national proctor, specializing in endometriosis, advanced pelvic and reconstructive surgery. He is a COEMIG (Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology) accredited Surgeon as well.

Reaves

Caren C. Reaves, MD, FACOG

Dr. Reaves is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She grew up in Ft. Worth and attended Texas Christian University for her undergraduate education, where she graduated with highest honors with a degree in Chemistry. She then received her M.D. from UT-Southwestern at Dallas where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Annelle Ahmed Award for outstanding senior medical student in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her internship and residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital- Dallas in 2001 and was selected Outstanding Teaching Resident at graduation by medical students and lower level residents. Her prior appointments include Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Denton Regional Medical Center and Quality Improvement committee at North Texas Hospital. She offers multiple minimally invasive surgical options to her patients, including the Davinci Robotic approach, so her patients can return to their normal lives with as little discomfort and in as little time as possible.

In her spare time, Dr. Reaves enjoys spending time with her three daughters and pursuing her passion of horses.

Popov

Monica Popov, MD, FACOG

Dr. Popov (pronounced pop-off) is a native of New Jersey. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the America College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her Bachelor of Science in microbiology from the University of Alabama and received her MD from the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. She received the Teresa Finney Memorial Award for outstanding services in Obstetrics and Gynecology as a senior medical student. She completed her internship in 1997 and residency in 2000, both at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At graduation, she received the Resident Teacher of the Year Award. She received a Master’s of Business Administration in 2012 from the University of Massachusetts. She served as past president of Denton County Medical Society and past Credentials Chairman at North Texas Hospital. She is currently a member of the Council on Socio-economics for Texas Medical Association. She is also trained to do da Vinci Robotic surgery. Her current interests include minimally-invasive surgery, menopausal management, and hereditary cancer screening.

Her outside interests include travel, film festivals, animal rights issues, and trying other new endeavors. She and husband, Kevin Kirchner, have eleven feline “children”.

Finger

Laura Finger, MD, FACOG

Dr. Finger is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She grew up in Alabama and attended Huntington College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. She completed her medical school training at University of South Alabama. She completed internship and residency at University of South Alabama Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Mobile, Alabama, where she was Chief resident her senior year. She has served as Chairman of the OB/GYN Department and as Vice-Chief of Staff of Denton Regional Medical Center. Dr Finger enjoys taking care of women in all phases of life. She enjoys teaching young women about cyle control, gardasil, contraception and ovarian cysts. Mature women may be interested about options for irregular bleeding, menopause issues with options of symptom relief and incontenece issues. She has had Da Vinci Robotic training for minimally invasive surgery.

Her husband Ken is a native of Duncanville, Texas and he is an mechanical engineer and avid soccer fan. They enjoy their two sons August and Michael. In her spare time, she enjoys taking care of her backyard chickens and attending soccer games with her family.

Amy Lungren

Amy S. Lungren, MD, FACOG

Dr. Lungren was raised in Dallas, Texas! She was a 5th grade teacher in Plano before attending medical school at U.T. Southwestern. She completed her residency at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas and is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Lungren believes that your health is a joint effort and should be tailored to you. Her specialties include well-woman health maintenance, complete obstetrical care, hormone replacement, menopausal management, laparoscopic gynecologic surgery including da Vinci surgery, urinary incontinence and infertility care. In addition to those specialties, Dr. Lungren is a wife and mother of three boys and currently resides right here in Flower Mound.

Osborn

Rachel M. Osborn, MD, FACOG

Being a graduate of UT Health Science Center San Antonio, Dr. Osborn completed her residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital. She specializes in well-women health maintenance, complete obstetrical care, menopausal management, laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, urinary incontinence and infertility care. Dr. Osborn chose to exclusively work with females as an Ob/Gyn so that she could provide counseling and medical care to women at all stages of their lives. She recognizes the intimate relationship between a woman and her Ob/Gyn, and she aims to achieve excellence in the care she provides. In her free time, Dr. Osborn enjoys spending time with friends and husband Timothy, participating in community events, and visiting her niece and nephew, Olivia and Julian.
